Founded in 1925 as one of the first co-educational boarding and day schools, Frensham Heights has always been characterised by a friendly, informal atmosphere in which the individual child feels secure and happy. As a co-educational community, the school believes in equality of the sexes, it opposes all forms of bigotry, racial, religious or social, and every effort is made to deepen understanding of human nature and behaviour and develop self-esteem. Boarders are housed in small and friendly boarding houses (maximum 39 per house). Parents may chose between full and weekly boarding. There is no school uniform. The Junior School, St George's, and Little Dragons' Nursery cater for day boys and girls aged 3-10. A limited number of pupils from overseas is welcomed at the school.
